When I listed my house for sale, the woodburning stove was not included or excluded. The house went into contract, but then my ex-husband stole it (he denies it) without telling anybody (I had already moved out). The house has since closed and the buyers are now trying to come after us for the insurance money. Can the buyers still come after me even though the deed has passed hands?

We are looking at having a woodburning stove installed, but just wondered what do they use to finish the inside of the old fireplace before the stove goes in. Is it just sand and cement or is there something special that they use for that purpose?

I have an old 2 up 2 down stone house with full gas central heating. 7 radiators. Can I have the radiator system attached to a woodburning stove instead of my gas back boiler or would I need a whole new piping system? Anubis- looked around the web a bit: try http://www.Gr8fires.co.uk It may help.

I live in Alberta, Canada and want to install a freestanding woodburning stove in my living room. I know it has to be installed according to fire regulations but I don't have the fire codes. It will be installed at an angle in the living room corner.

I have recently installed a woodburning stove, It is tightly sealed with the fire clay cement and no leaks. It can go fine for days and then suddenly the room fills with smoke. Could this be a down draught problem, Any ideas of how to cure it? Thanks
