Its depend on your work if you work hard you complete your design in very short time but if you work 4 or 5 hour per day you design will be completed approx 3,4 days.How much can I charge for a web site design?

I see all of the free web site design programs and stuff online. I sell necklaces. I was just wondering if it is possible to upload a picture i have made that shows all of my individual necklaces to the internet and use the whole thing as a web site. I am wanting to upload only the picture and have just a one page web site. I would then add some paypal buttons and let people just shop on there.

I am in a web site design program for school. I am currently taking a Database Systems course. It is the basics of database design. We have to write a proposal for our web site project. It has to be a fictitious company web site that uses a database. I am having trouble thinking of an idea that would allow me to incorporate a database? Can anyone help? I want to keep the idea simple since it is a beginner class. Thanks!

Let's say it's a kitchenware company. They post a recipe each day, week, whatever, intended to feature the use of some equipment they sell. So your database would be set up with columns for the key, title, recipe text, equipment, date posted, and food category. Then you would also have an index page where your archived recipes were listed by category. ∠°)How much you charge to design a web site? Should you charge a flat fee or hourly?

Like anything in business, you usually get what you pay for. If you are a novice like the guy above was when he was in college, you probably should keep your cost lower as this will mean as much about experience and attracting business as it will making money for you. If you are more professional and have an impressive portfolio, you can definitely charge more. If this is your first time I'd be in the 30 - 50 per hour range. (Why? Because if you are high and the quality doesn't match, you will not be getting referral business in the future.) My company Oz2Designs charges a standard rate of $80.00 per hour however it is completely negotiable based on the scale of the project. We have also done flat rate fee's once we get an idea of expectations and approximate work time.Is there a good, but cheap web site design program that is easy to use for a newbie?

Look, if you want to make a good website, forget the cheap and easy software. Professionals don't use that just because it's more difficult!!! Go to http://www.w3schools.com and learn how to do it like a professional. This is the best site to go. Also, use Inkscape (www.inkscape.org) to do the design.Which is the Best User Friendly Web Site Designing Software?

Adobe Dreamweaver is amazing! I am in college and I had to take a web design class for a requirement. We used Dreamweaver and I loved the program so much that I went out and bought it. And I'm not even taking web design!
