How easy is it to complete a watersports instructor course to be able to teach the sport abroad?
I want to work abroad in Spain over summer to improve my Spanish but I'm having trouble finding work. However have come across a lot of opportunities to instruct various watersports whilst there. The only catch being I don't have the qualification to teach any. What would be the easiest sport for me to teach to give me the chance to improve on Spanish? Any other advice is also welcome. Thanks in advance!

Passing the Sailing Instructors course in order to be qualified to teach sailing is easy... ... as long as you have the 10 years experience in sailing every weekend before you take it. Only with that much experience will you be able to know what to do for both you AND for your pupils in all circumstances that you might meet.How could i start a spanish oral talking about the evolution of watersports ?
i have to do a spanish oral about how sports changed. im gonna talk about watersports ( competitive swimming, waterpolo, waterpolo..) how could i start the oral ? i have a few points that changed,but do you guys have any other ideas of what i could talk about ? thanks

Were goin to laganas zante, and I've been told you cannot do watersports in laganas because of the turtles.. Where is the nearest place we could go that does do them? Thanks.

You are right, Laganas Beach does not offer water sports because of the turtles. But it is possible to takes trips to other parts of the island. wakesurfing!! it is awsome!! it is just wat it sounds like!!!! you surf on the wake of a boat! or also SUP boards are really fun they are a (S)tand (U)p (P)addleboard. it is basically a surfboard, but you go on a flat lake and you just have a really long paddle (like the ones for boats in Italy) and you just paddle ur self around!!!!!!!!Best hotels in Bali for honeymooners which love beaches, watersport, relaxing and sightseeing?

Plenty of hotels there depend on your budget. Try this hotel for honeymooners and partygoers : 1. Nikko Hotel at Nusa Dua, Bali (http://www.nikkobali.com/) great locations. 2. Bali Intercontinental Apart from that, a lot of private bungalows, three stars hotels there. Stay in Kuta area for beach and night life. Try Jogja in Central java, a 45 minutes flight from Bali and see Borobudur the largest Budhist temple in the world and many many attractions. You won't regret my advice. So the this morning my girlfriend told me she was really keen to try watersports so I said ok and went out and bought some water skis and came home to show her. dammit - here you go again, not listening to me and failing to communicate. and you wonder why i spend so much of my time at the neighbor's house? sure, she and i got off to a rocky start when she discovered that i was cleaning his pipes without a contractor's license, but once she and i discovered how much we had in common (we both love to clean carpets) we were able to move forward and develop something special... and she LISTENS to me and doesn't mind stopping for directions either. that's something **coughs** that you might want to pick up on. and she doesn't insist i learn music lessons either - i am SO tired of hearing you say you want me to play your rusty trombone...seriously, why don't you get it fixed if you want me to play it? now then, as for the watersports that i wanted to engage in, seriously, i am tired of you just p*ssing on my wants and needs and going off to do stuff on your own. the neighbors have installed a pool, and my girlfriend's new husband is an avid watersports fan. he has said he wouldn't mind showing you a few tricks...which i think you should take him up on. some activities are best done in a group. we'll be getting started around 9 tonight...if you want to learn anything, feel free to show up.I'm thinking about moving to the dallas area but am really into watersports, is there any water to boat in?

There are actually a lot of lakes in and around Dallas/Ft Worth -- and within a couple hours drive some nice ones as well. I'll start with the largest and work down. Lake Texoma, in Denison, near Okla. border 89,000 acres Lake Tawakoni, in Greenville -- 36,700 acres Lake Lewisville, in Lewisville -- 29,592 acres Lake Ray Roberts, in Denton -- 29,350 acres Lake Whitney, in Whitney -- 23,560 acres Lake Ray Roberts, in Rockwall -- 22,745 acres Lake Lavon, in Wylie -- 21,400 Joe Pool Lake, in Grand Prairie -- 7,500 acres (Joe Pool lake is in Cedar Hill State Park and can be reached from Cedar Hill also) Grapevine Lake, in Grapevine -- 7,280 acres There are several smaller ones but these are the main ones people go to for boating/skiing/fishing. Personally, I think Joe Pool is the nicest -- it also has a nice swiming area, lots of grills, playgrounds, bathrooms, cabins with A/C, TV, kitchen appliances - utensils, linens -- all you need to bring is the food Welcome to the area & have fun.how profitable can a watersport rental company be in hawaii?
I am researching about opening a watersport rental company in a smal town in hawaii. The rentals would be boogie boards, snorkel equipment, bodyboards and small surf boards or possibly longboards. Just looking for some good advice from someone. Is it profitable at all if it is only rentals.

depends on what you mean by "small town". the small towns dont have the tourist volume that would be needed for a rental company. for a small town you would need a retail/rental combo and even then the market is fairly saturated. there is also the rediculous overhead and liability insurance to worry about...do yourself a favor and open up a sandwich shop instead.What's the website and name of the watersports shack on the beach near the petra mare hotel,Crete(is it Oxbow)

I recommend you go to Essaouira. It is a small coastal town famous for its music festival called ''Gnawa''.Essaouira is a beautiful and quiet town and has a great beach where you can do water sports. If you haven't Equipment for water sports can make rent.
