Need help finding a company or supplier?

Looking for a DVD or NTSC video tape of the 2006 Grand Final?

Sports Delivered web site is messed up. Any ideas on how to get a copy of this game? If Geelong wins the thing this year, I hope the WEG poster and the DVD or NTSC video of the game is available to get in America. Also, anybody know how I can get DVD or NTSC video tape of the 1963 Grand Final? Sports Delivered does not offer it in their catalogs online or hard copy. I do have the fourth quarter, but I would like to have the entire game. To Joshua G. I am a charter member of AFANA, Rob DeSantos and I are waiting on Sports Delivered website to get repaired.

There are a few problems that you are going to encounter, firstly the tape may become stuck together, and there maybe contamination, grit, dust and the like. first you need to remove the tape from its casing. put the spindles on to the table on a clean piece of lint free material. slowly wind the tape from one spindle to the other taking great care if it stuck. There is going to be a lot of tape, so its not a job that will be finished in 10 minutes. Just did a little search go here and its all explained for you. Loads of information http://www.videointerchange.com/damaged_tape.htm In you home town I do not have a clue where IF you can get help. try a video/camera shop/store. Good luck RR

What are ways to prove a thief stole something?

Besides video taping what are ways people have been caught stealing? I am trying to catch someone that's why.

Player

Question answered by Ladybeth

Fingerprints on the stolen object and the thief's fingerprints match. The thief tries to sell the item and the pawn shop -- or whomever he tries to sell it to -- calls the police because he/she is suspicious. There is an eye witness. The thief tells someone else they stole from you, and that person calls the police. You spot your property in the thief's possession. Last, be careful trying to catch the person yourself. Any evidence you collect, by any means, may not be admissible in court. You could get hurt in the process. You could be wrong about who the thief is.

Do personal security cameras at home work?

Neighbors are talking about installing personal security cameras at their single family residences. Is that practical? The average video tape is no more than 6 hours. Is there a way to continuously save all footage digitally on a 100GB hard drive for long vacations? But that also means computers must be left on the entire time so the electricity bill must run the computer, camera, and any other peripheral continuously on long vacations. If the power goes out briefly, then it's This question assumes the camera is not aimed at other neighbor's homes so no privacy issues are violated.

OVC and the Spy shop both sell systems that record to Dvds. Some systems are motion detection activated, so you are only recording when the unit picks up something moving. Electricity in our area to run the system is about 5 cents an hour when it is in operation. If you have the type of system you are speaking about, use a backup battery and turn the monitor off and it is not that expensive.

How do I convert video to DVD?

I have 3 or 4 camcoder video tapes that I would like to convert to DVD. Is there software that I need to buy or is it easier to have someone else do it? If so, what would I look under in the phonebook for someone who specializes in that, and what is a reasonable rate? Thanks! The format is Hi8, from a Sony handheld.

Plextor ConvertX Digital Video Converter PX-M402U This unit comes with software to allow you to burn your video clips onto DVD. Try your local photo shops and see if they offer tape to DVD conversion.

I need to know how to edit a video clip I recorded with my video camera. It is too dark to see my baby's face

My bf and I were video taping the baby with a combo video camera/mp3/digital camera and got the cutest video ever, but it came out so dark you can't see the baby's face. I need to know how to edit it so you can see the baby. I tried paint shop pro, but it won't let me upload the video, any ideas?

Making exposure corrections on videos is done using professional equipment and software ... in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Unfortunately you will need to re-shoot with better lighting.

You can still get a VHS-C cassette adapter from a number of places. Mine is battery powered and loads the VHS-C cassette automatically - Don't know how typical that is. Maplin Electronics sell one for £14.99 (on-line or High Street); Amazon sell a few: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hama-VHS-C-Cassette-Adapter-Manual/dp/B00006JD2D At least one of our local electrical retailers sells them so they ARE about. As far as I know, you can't buy one for Vid8 cassettes. The tapes are not compatible with VHS players.
