University of Washington, Loyola University, Johns Hopkins, and Cornell have some of the best burn treatment centers in the US. However, you wouldn't get any experience in the burn centers until medical school.Which American University provides the shortest programe to earn a master and Phd in economics?
Which university provides the few years to complete the phd after making a master (or equal). I would rather the top 50 universities.

I believe University of Maryland has some fast track options, where you can potentially earn a Master's in 1 year, and a Ph.D. in as little as 3.Universities overseas: How important is it that the University is relatively well known?
I’m applying to university this year and am seriously considering sending in applications to several universities overseas. However, the few that I have in mind aren’t very well known where I reside, and I’m concerned that post graduation this may create some problems for me when the time comes for me to establish a career. So my question to you is: do you think that if I were to attend a more ‘unknown’ university overseas, would it have much of an impact on me when trying to establish a career in my native country? Thanks for the help and advice!

University's only accept offical sealed transcripts. Your HS will print off your transcripts with an "offical" stamp on them. Your HS will either mail them direct to the colleges you applied to or they will hand you a sealed marked envelope. If the envelope is opened the college will not accept them. At our high school you had to give the school a two week notice to mail out your transcripts to the college.What university for my course is the best?

I am in the Nanotechnology Engineering program at the University of Waterloo, which is the best engineering program at the best engineering institution in Canada. I am planning to take some of my pre-med courses like Biology and Immunology at my University. Would it make a difference if my university is not that well known for undergraduate studies in sciences? Or does my MCAT score compensate for the quality of my university?

The university does not matter. It's like you've imagined, the MCAT compensates (or tells) for it all.Why is Stanford such a good university? Do I have to live there in order to attend that university?

why would you have to live in california to attend a university there? that wouldn't make any sense. i live in alaska and i'm going to attend a university in boston. stanford is amazing because of it's prestige, refined education system, and outstanding professors. however, it's not first because obviously it lacks some of what harvard, yale, and princeton have.How good are York St John University and University of Chester for their creative writing degrees?
Two universities which will potentially be among my five choices for next year. I'd appreciate anyone's thoughts on creative writing at either university if they are taking/have taken the subject there. Just general thoughts about the universities themselves will also be welcome.

I'm at the university of chester and two of my housemates are studying creative writing and english. They both enjoy themselves and feel challenged. They enjoy writing and seem to get good feedback from their lecturers. The University itself is a happy place. It is small and compact which means you see people you know on a regular basis without too much difficulty. A word of warning, University accomodation food is not good. Avoid it if possible. I'm 16 and I live in Europe. I know I still have 3 years till university but I prefer planning ahead. I would like to go to an Australian university especially to the university of queensland to Brisbane. However I would like to know if there's other universities as well. Actually the university of queensland seems to be a bit expensive (more than 25000$ for an year). I know all the Australian universities are expensive but could you recommend other ones? Although we are wealthy, financial things are still important.

In regards to medicine, I know that Monash University in Melbourne also has a fantastic program. Deakin University would probably be a cheaper option too, that is in a coastal town called 'Geelong' which is near Melbourne. Good luck with it all!How do most university dining commons work?
I was wondering how most university dining commons work? Or if you only know about yours can you explain it. At UCSB they force all the freshmen to get a meal plan. I guess you can say I am asking if they force students to get a meal plan or do people volunteer themselves into a plan at most universities?

I go to Loyola Marymount University, and how they have it set up is that you put a certain amount of money in an account set aside specifically for food, not necessarily a certain number of meals. The system is called Lion Dollars, and it's a University currency made just for food and a few other specific things. As long as you live on campus, you have to get some kind of "meal plan" but most people just get the lowest one and then put their money towards flexi or S dollars or some other University currency that is more flexible. I think that at commuter schools, or schools where housing is guaranteed all 4 years, the number of students looking for meal plans will drop.Related products and services
