This depends on which restaurant and what portion size you're ordering. Look at the menu when inside the restaurant or ask the manager/wait staff exactly what the nutrient/caloric content is on the entree you order.how do i deal with this Chinese restaurant owner who is extremely impatient and yells?
it is at a Chinese restaurant that i like to go to, but the only problem is that sometimes i cannot understand the restaurant owners english; he works the cash register. if he has to repeat himself more than twice, he starts screaming at me and if for example, he calls out my number to be served on busy days and i cant understand him, he starts doing these spazzy arm movements if he has to wait more than two seconds. if there was some sort of feedback jar, i could write my concerns, i never really looked around for one.

You don't need a feedback jar, just vote with your feet. If more people do that then he might get the message. In your case he will certainly miss you since you are a regular.How would would it cost to start a restaurant?
Approximately, how much would it cost to get everything up and running. I was thinking later down the future, i open a french type restaurant mixed with english food but mostly french foods. Please no hateful comments against the french people Ty :)

the ginger pig according to its website is french/modern european. british restaurants are hard to find in brighton. not much traditional english food is served in restaurants these days if u like fish then English's in the Lanes would be a good choice or if ur looking for just a good restaurant not English then Ginger Pig or Hotel du Vin or One Paston Place are good choices.What are good restaurants in Verona, Italy that have really good pasta?

I am traveling in tenerife, Spain. Being south asian and gay, I feel a little bit of low self esteem. But recently, I keep hearing voices of people from the next table at the restaurant, in english, about everything what I do or whatever on me. It really make me paranoid, and I feel like I am being watched and insecure. Then I start wondering whether it´s only in my imagination, or people really playing this GAME to make others feel small and insecure. In Tenerife, mostly old tourists are from Britain, German, or other european countries. My logical thinking is imposible they do any harm to others, but unconciously I feel so nervous. Please help. The more I stay here, the more I can´t differentiate whether it´s real or I need to go to councellor. Is there any game like that in real ? Bullying people with words.

I am trying to describe the following in natural English. *Restaurant A had been #2 or lower in sales in the restaurant industry. *Restaurant B had been #1 *But,now restaurant A is #1 ahead of restaurant B. I tried by myself as follows; "Restaurant A became the number one in sales by outstripping Restaurant B in the restaurant industry (or Should I say in the food service industry?)" You know how you get lots of thai and chinese restaurants that sell 'typical' thai and chinese food? Well, do you get English restaurants in other countries? If so, what kind of food do they sell? Fish and chips? Roast dinner? I'm not talking about cheap take-aways, I mean proper restaurants.

Blimey -- its very difficult to find an English restaurant in England. I never saw an English one in China, there are some American ones tho' -- burgers steaks and fries. The Chinese arent't as adventurous with foreign food as the English. They think their food is the best and thats what they want to eat,
