Well you could use autotune. Sound like a robot an' all.
Or you could use some good ol' fashioned practice.
Sound editing like they do in recording studios is pretty complicated, you could probably get a degree in sound editing.
Do recording studios make beats for you?
I have an app to make music, but I'm horrible at making beats. At recording studios do they make beats for you? And if they do, do you have to pay extra to use them?

Question answered by Harry
Anything, for a price. Per hour. Per recording. Per rights of distribution.
All according to your needs, to even provide a band or other voice accompaniments.
You can always get a sound 'beat box' (not 'boom') of digital varieties to choose from, to help you out as a side, support system. Helps you learn more of timing and provides backup and background.
Great for solo artists on the move.
What is a good Cleveland recording studios for metal and on a budget?
Can anyone recommend a recording studio in Cleveland that records metal and has pretty cheap rates?
Cheap as in $120 for a project or $20 - $25 and hour.

my best advice is to do a google or yahoo map search for businesses in Cleveland, then search for recording studios. that will narrow down the search. then you will be able to check out the websites or contact the studios for rates.
i'm not familiar with the Cleveland area studio scene but i think you'll have a hard time finding a professional studio in that price range. you may try looking on craigslist or myspace music for someone with their own home studio. that would surely be cheaper than a professional studio. also, go to shows around your area and find out where other people have done their recordings, and go from there.
also most studios don't care what kind of music you play. so you wont really have to find a studio that is willing to do metal. most studios will record anything as long as they get their check.
it may also be more cost effective in the long run if you record some stuff on your own by setting up a home studio. your only problem with be tracking the drums. guitars, bass and vocals can be done seperatly and mixed together, with the drums you get the best sound with a number of mics which is a problem in a home studio and on a budget. you may consider recording the guitars, bass, and vocals yourself and get the drums recorded at a studio, then mixing it all together. it may be a bit of a pain, but could end up the best option for you.
if you guys play shows, you may be able to record the output of the mixing board. this would be pretty cheap (possibly free) if it's an option. of course if you are wanting a really good quality piece of recording your best chance is at a studio, which will cost you.
if i remember right there is a recording school in Ohio somewhere. Chilicothe or something maybe. the point is, a lot of these recording schools will record people for free to get their students experience. will it be perfect? no, probably not, but it would be free and should be decent quality.. you might want to look into that.
good luck
How to get into recording studios in Hollywood?
Okay so at the recording studios in Hollywood where the well known singers & songwriters go to record their songs (I'm talking about people like Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga) do they let other people in? I'm a 15 year old girl and really interested in the music industry and I know some people that work in one..would they be able to let me in just to look around or possibly be there while someone was recording???? Please only answer if you have knowledge on this subject and know what your talking about, not just your opinion. Thank you.

What IS IT with you wild eyed CELEBRITY WORSHIPERS.. don't you know that TAYLOR SWIFT CAN'T SING WITHOUT AN AUROTUNE?
I've been a session player in Recordings studios and I have owned a couple of recording studios and the LAST THING I want or need at a recording session is some tween or teen CELEBRITY WORSHIPER drooling on their shoes during a session.
People are paying BIG BUCKS for studio time.. the LAST thing they want is some tween or teen being in their way while they are working on a new song.. and IT'S NOT THE GLAMOUROUS THING YOU THINK IT IS... A recording session is a high pressure environment.. so you will have to go somewhere else to play.
do recording studios compose music for you after you write your own songs?
I write my own sings but cant make my own melodies. Do recording studios do this for me?
Question answered by Henré
Recording studios won't do this, but a music producer will. The thing for you to do is probably to team up with a producer to get your songs written, and then look at recording them.
Does the advance of home recording software mean the death of the recording studio?
Now that home software packages such as Logic and ProTools are so abundant, does that mean that actual recording studios are finished? And if not, why not? I am doing a journalism paper at university and I would like some references or opinions that experts or those involved in the industry have on the matter, but my research is turning up surprisingly little. I'd like some sound bites or recent news on this subject... any help or advice greatly appreciated!

They wont ever die. They'll get scarcer but I just don't see them ever going away. There is still a major difference between a home/project studio recording and a label backed record done in a multi-million dollar studio. The major studios are still only able to be afforded by rock and pop stars and the labels will still shell out for it. I think that project studios are going to be hurt by the home recording studios because the software and hardware are so much cheaper now and you don't need a small business loan to buy an interface and some microphones anymore.
For news look up EMI. They're about to go bankrupt and they're one of the last 4 major labels. They lost almost 2 billion GBP last year and either had to or almost had to sell Abbey Road. Like THE Abbey Road.
Hope this gave at least a little insight,

Depends on what you want to support.
If all you want to do is capture analog, then just need a mixing board with a few inputs. Check out music shops in area for used and sale specials. If want to author music and produce electronically, then you will need computer and software such as Cakewalk, Ovation, etc. Also check same places for these too.
Much more details are going to be needed on what it is that you want to do with your home recording studio.
Technically, the bare minimum would be a tape recorder since it can record 2 tracks (left and right) and a way to get signals into the recorder.
You obviously already have a computer, you should consider using it as your mixer, editor, composer, and storage. Everything else can be brought in via firewire / usb dongles (converters). Your mixer channel ability will be limited only by the speed of your processor, the number of raw inputs, and the size of your drive to store the results. That might be the most cost effective way, as well as the most capable way in long and short runs. But, you will never be able to record to analog media (tape) without distortion from the converting digital signal back to analog.
A MIDI interface (possible through gameport) can also be helpful for synchronizing various devices as well, but those are now well out of the realm of being cheap.
