Names of the Passengers who are left out fully(all the passengers in the transaction) on waiting list after chart preparation, their names will be dropped and will not appear in charts. They are not allowed to board the train. If detected traveling in the train, they shall be treated as passenger traveling without ticket as per extant Railway Rules.Their cancellation will be done automatically after chart preparation and refund will be credited back to customer/Agent account electronically.

How would I photograph a band in a railway car?

I would like to photograph a band inside of an abandoned railway car near my home. However, the band wants the photo around dusk and I am having trouble figuring out which kind of lighting to set up so that the person inside of the car will not look too dark, nor the person in front too blown out due to long exposure to make the person in back visible. I do not have professional lighting equipment, I am a student, and would like practical, DIY solutions and suggestions. Thanks!

Railway Car Photographs? Why would the band want to photograph at dusk? I guess because someone is not sure if it is allowed to use the location. I would find out who the owner is and ask permission. May be a near station, neighbors, the city/county/mayer know. This should solve the worst lighting problems and will feel so much better, too. Hi We are developing a residential project in yelahanka. There is a single railway track next to the property. The details are as under The track is a single track. Traffic is roughly 20 trains in a day. The distance of the property is 30 meters from the track. We want to know what can be a good solution against the noise specifically from the Railway horn. I have been given to understand that the fares for the railway ticket are charged for the actual distance traversed by a passenger. And hence, I intend to know the methodology of calculation of actual distance in between two consecutive stations.

The distance will be measured in miles or kilometers. If you contact Indian Railways they will be able to tell you how the fares are calculated.

Outstanding hobby... a NEW Layout is always a blast (I spend a lot of time "dreaming" on paper and, now, software !! I'm really only interested in modern American railroads... so my links will reflect that (I note you use "railway"... British?) Model Railroader Magazine - http://www.trains.com/mrr/ (well worth getting a subscription to the magazine) Kalmbach Books - http://www.kalmbach.com/Books.aspx Atlas Model Railroad Co. - http://www.atlasrr.com/ (they have a free download software for designing your layouts track) National Model Railroad Association (NMRA) - http://www.nmra.org/ IF you're going to model a prototype (or even a freelance RR)... I have liked using Google Earth satellite images to help in planning for industrial facilities and for finding "interesting" buildings, terrain, etc. I started in HO scale with a 4x8 ft sheet of plywood as a kid in 1974... today I have a 60 x 60 ft basement packed to the walls with an N-scale layout representing the Union Pacific RR in the current San Jose / Stockton, California area. I also run a few steam and early diesel "specials" on my layout during holidays and visits to add to the color and appeal. GOOD LUCK !!
