What happens to the pets at a pet store if the pet store goes out of business?
It is advised that when wanting a pet, it is best to adopt at a shelter or adopt one from a reputable breeder. Pet store pets come from puppy mills and buying a pet from a pet store is supporting puppy mills. But what happens to the pets if the pet store shuts down? Are they put in animal shelters? If they're going to end up in animal shelters anyway, isn't purchasing a pet "saving" it?

You have good logic, I must admit. BUT! Unless your buying when the pet store for sure is closing it IS better to get from the shelter.What's the difference between the Sims 3 pets and the Sims 3 pets Expansion pack?
So I just got the Sims 3 pets expansion pack on ebay and i was wondering what new things are on it and what i should expect? is it better then the sims 2 pets? whats the difference between the Sims 3 pets plus and the Sims 3 pets expansion? what cool things are on it? Pets Plus: Comes with base game and Pets expansion Pets: Just comes with Pets game. Pets is alright. Had to return it twice, but bought it again, soo...If landlords allow pets, do they do anything to the apartment once a pet owner moves out?
For example, like pet hair/dander removal or detoxifying of the whole apartment, etc. I am allergic to pets and will be moving soon to a pet-friendly town for college and I am afraid I might move into an apartment and sneeze all the time.

I am moving to Doha in Qatar and I have four pets that I would like to take with me. I know all about the regulations of taking pets into Qatar but I don't know how much it will cost. We're gonna be flying by Qatar Airways and the pets we are taking are two 8 month old kittens, 1 cat and 1 dog.

Yes you are right pets have their share in history. In war during the time of napoleon bonaparte pet dpogs and pigeons has been used as messengers. Some arab countries would use a hawk in sending important messages and documents.Can you make any pets besides cats and dogs?

Mum told me today that Pet Barn is taken over Pets at Home fountain gate, On further investigation pet barn is also taken over the other two pets at home stores in Mill park and Chadstone. Does anyone know if Pet barn will take over the Lort Smith Animal Adoption program? Does Anyone know if Pets at Home will be closed for good? Or are they moving to different locations? Or are the simple combining both stores and closing the animal adoption program?

From what I've seen, small children tear up a lot more than pets. Pets don't have crayons, paints, markers, or hands with which to throw their food. They also seem to be easier to potty train than children. Oh, and before you mention fleas, let me remind you that children bring home LICE, which are not only harder to get rid of than fleas, but will also take up residence in human hair. Lol, great point, vegansforever! Maybe children should be limited to children's stores since pets are limited to pet supply stores?

I have long said I would prefer places that allow pets but ban children rather than places that allow children but ban pets. Pets are not nearly as annoying. Of course, children are that way because bad parents let them get away with it. I strongly agree that it makes more sense to have a fee for children than for pets in rentals, and it also makes more sense to have rentals that ban children rather than pets. As for the licensing issue...it's very sad that so many places require you to get a license to own a pet, but anyone is allowed to reproduce whether they take care of their offspring or not.How many pets are you allowed to keep in a house that you rent?
I have 3 cats, I want to move out from my parent's house but a lot of places don't want pets. I did look into a few studio apartments but they charge you a fee for every pet.

I would guess it would depend on the area.When I was renting in Napa Ca. I did not have any pets. Wanted to get one, but realized I would really limit how many places I could rent from. At the time hardly anyone would rent to someone with a pet. If the renting market is tight, owners get picky. If their are a lot of rentals in your area then most will allow pets because they need to have someone renting their place.How many types of pets can you handle?
What kinds of pets? How do you take care? What do you do? Can you handle them all at the same time?

I currently have living in my house w/me: 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 green iguanas, 1 box turtle, 6 parakeets, & 2 cockatiels. I have had 3 cats +/or 3 dogs at one time before, but that seems to upset the balance. It takes a certain amount of organization, and getting everyone/everything (including yourself) on some type of schedule: feed/watering, letting dogs outside to relieve themselves, pooper-scooping, changing bird cages, cleaning iguana/turtle cages, etc. Kind of challenging at first whenever another addition is made to the "family", but in time, everything fits in and works out, just takes patience and determination. Also - I don't see how anyone who owns a variety of (indoor) pets can be a "clean freak". Vacuum, dust, mop, all you want, but by the time you work your way from one end of a room to the other, where you started at is already getting furred and feathered! Diligence is the name of the game, but you can make yourself crazy trying to live in a sterile environment!
