If you want to work with animals it would be helpful to get as much experience related to the career you want to pursue as you can. Sometimes places tend to look more at your experience than your degree.
You can gain experience by going to camps, volunteering, an internship, a job, etc.
http://www.sandiegozoo.org/jobs/keeper_faq.html
What are some other ways to gain animal experience?
Some places to look for volunteer jobs or internships might be:
• Veterinary offices
• Animal training classes (does your dog need obedience training?)
• Local Humane Society
• Local Park Service
• Wildlife rehabilitation centers (like for wolves, bears, big cats, birds of prey, and even bats)
• Animal shelters
• Farms (for domestic animals, or even ostrich, llama, or butterfly farms)
• Pet breeders (those that breed specific kinds of dogs, cats, or horses)
• Horse stables and boarding facilities
• 4-H Clubs

What jobs can you get with an international business degree?
What jobs can you get with an international business degree? Will I be able to find a job right after graduation? Is it a good field?
lala G
Question answered by flingebunt
Well it is a business degree so it could lead you to work in any type of business career, but your specialist area would relate to international trade.
So you might be working in logistics, import, export or something like that.
I would suggest that knowing a second language could be good. Also if you can't find a job, then you can head off to the country whose language you learnt to improve your language skills, teach English then get a job either there, or back home, with that expeirence and knowledge.
The main advantage or problem with working in international business or trade is the need to travel. While this might sound exciting, I have just spent the last 8 months living out of a suit case. So it is up to you if you like it or not.
What were some jobs offered to the Chinese in the early 1900s in America?
Do u know what jobs were avaiable to the discriminated chinese? I know they couldn't get good jobs and earn a lot of money for working but what jobs were available?
Kar
Question answered by poornakumar b
Many worked on the Railroad. Also they worked on such heavy jobs (mining) initially where jobs were available for the asking. When their population reached a critical mass they formed their own communities that took care of their common civic needs. These were food, family, temples, money-lending, trade in ethnic food items and all the paraphernalia for a social life, like back home. As their society evolved in those pockets, there arose the need for security & protection. Thus came the protection gangs & martial arts. Their aim is to maintain a self-sufficient society of theirs, with needs well-taken care of that would also be part of American nation. It was the story of all distinctly (from the mainstream) racial societies in a geographical setting & Chinese present a lot of contrast with any other race. So, Chinese had to maintain their identity anywhere they went. In very few places, though extremely difficult, they merged with the mainstream culture.
The recent showing in a high profile intellectual jobs (universities & laboratories) is a recent phenomenon. It offers several layers of isolation form the basics of existence that afflicted the early Chinese. Very few people are in that niche. There is no discrimination here as the best man gets the job. The competition can be intense & only the best survive & valued by the host country. America is an Immigrant country & none can say that he is the son of the soil (Boomi`putra) and those who really were, were confined to the debris of history as non-survivors. Asians in general, Chinese in particular are survivors first.
What entry level jobs offer full time and health insurance?
My pizza place job doesn't schedule full time workers or offer health insurance, nor has any other min wage job I've had. What jobs can a person with a high school degree try to get where they give you full time and health insurance?
Janie
Question answered by A M Solver
usually permanent jobs have better benefits, thus they are harder to get, meaning you would need either some degree, work experience or both. like others mentioned, most big companies offer medical insurance. but if you are a temp there, whether entry level or not, minimum wage or not, they basically wont care about your well being because they can replace you easily. so regardless of the industry or the type of work, usually permanent jobs get the better job perks. good luck. but yes, you will mostly start at an entry level post.
or move to a country where national medical insurance is available to all :)
