What is a way to make wavy frizzy hair less frizzy with household items?
hair.

Question answered by TeeKeeLee
One great way to reduce frizz (and not add useless grease and oil to our hair) is to leave in a little bit of conditioner. So, after shampooing, condition but don't wash it all out, it helps to weigh down the hair and also weigh down fly aways. Works for me (and I have curly/ wavy medium thickness frizzy hair).
Hope I helped! :)
What hair grease that will make african american hair get smoother?
My hair is rough, Nappy, and frizzy. so i wonder if there a hair grease i can put on my hair to make it go healthier.
Question answered by Bobi
Wow,
This is quite a question. If your hair is natural and is all of these things you mentioned then a simple hair grease is not really the answer. You really need an entirely new hair regimen. And that is hard to recommend without knowing the true texture of your hair. Let me make these suggestions to you:
1) Stop using products that have mineral oil/lanolin/petrolatum as the main ingredients. These are ionerscheap filler ingredients that do nothing good for your hair.
2) Starting co-washing with a conditioner that you know truly moisturizes your hair. If you don't have a conditioner that truly moisturizes your hair, then start trying samples of different conditioners so you don't pay a lot of money for the real deal.
3) Make sure you detangle your hair when it is wet and full of something that has slip (conditioner, leave-in, moisturizer).
4) Learn that water is your friend and that you need to seal it into your hair with some type of oil or butter (mango butter, etc). Try spraying your hair with water and aloe vera juice and than apply a carrier oil to your hair to seal it in.
I hope these tips help. Start watching youtube videos and visiting blogs like http://naturallyrelaxedhair.com/ and others to find out how to take care of natural hair.

What hair straightener to get to make already straight hair straighter?
My hair is already straight, but I want to use a hair straightener to make it even straighter. Would it matter between the cheap and expensive ones?

Question answered by Blah.
You could get a cheap straightener but it would not last at all! I was using a Revlon 1" from Target and yes it was fine but in less than an hour my hair was back to the way it was before! I was really sick of it. And I thought I just needed the right products, but whoa, I was stupid! I needed a new straightener. Till a week in a half ago my Sedu straightener arrived and it's amazing! I use the same products as before and my hair is silky, soft, shiny, and healthy! It stays straight for about 42 hr. I totally recommend this for you! You won't regret it! C'mon, almost everyone said that the Sedu was great, so try it. It's worth every penny. And I could sweat and it won't even frizz up. And it stands fog/humidity extremely well.
Don't get the CHI! It's horrible. One pass and your hair would smell like if you put it in an oven. It only has one heat setting (the Sedu heats up to 410 degrees F.) so that would extremely damage you hair. It breaks easily too. So stay away! My friends have it and their hair is so jacked up.
If you do end up buying this straightener I would recommend you use the products I use:
-Shampoo and conditioner Aussie Moist
-John Frieda Frizz-Ease heat protector serum (it's in an orange bottle)
-Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray
And that's it! And those products won't go to waste! Trust me. So really, get it. I got the Sedu because of what so many people said about it.

This is the link that I got it from. They sell them in stores. It's called Ulta, but when I saw it, it was only the 1 1/2 in one.

Was your hair greasy when you're born?
You're using the wrong shampoo.
You're having conditioner buildup.
You're using oil on your hair, to protect your hair from straightening/curling tools.
You're eating too many oily foods.
You're shampooing frequently.
You're using too many hair products: gel, mousse, you're not letting your hair breath.
You're going to bed with damp hair. How about in grade school?
After shampooing, use two towels (long hair) to absorb most of the water from your hair. Blow-dry only for 5 mins. concentrate on the roots, before going to bed, if you're shampooing before bed.
Find the cause then eliminate them.

I know hair. I have silky, shiny, soft, smooth very healthy hair down to my knees. Previously damaged by perming & dyeing. I wash with shampoo every 4-5 days when it starts to get oily on my bangs, using Garnier for Normal Hair.

What hair dye brand is best for repairing hair?
Okay, 3 months ago, I bleached my hair for 3rd time, and that's when my hair gave up. My hair right now is damaged, frizzy and a little fried. I'm wondering what hair dye brand is best for repairing hair? (I'm also planning to dye it brown so it'll heal). Like L'oreal, Perfect 10, etc.
Please help! I have school in a week! :(
If you also have other tips for my hair, let me know, please! But make it cheap, I'm soo broke.
Thanks.

"Emergency" Hair Color Lock:
We all want hair color that stays, but color seems to fade more quickly than we would hope.
Take 1 Packet of Emergen-C (vitamin C supplement)
Combine with enough water to make a thick paste
Shampoo and rinse as usual
Apply paste to wet hair
Allow it to sit for 10 minutes
Wash and rinse it out
What it does: the vitamin C supplement contains high levels of ascorbic and citric acids, which dissolve the iron and alkaline deposits in hard water that cause color-treated hair to turn dull and mousey.

"Painless" Highlight Booster:
With salon-grade highlights, you leave looking marvelous. Every time you shampoo, however, you'll find that your color is less and less dazzling.
Take 1 aspirin and crush between two spoons
Add to your shampoo
Wash your hair as usual
What it does: salicylic acid in aspirin washes away dulling residue and adds shine to fading highlights
Castor Oil Protectant:
Use it before flat ironing your hair; will nourish your hair and protect it from the heat
Contains omega-9 fatty acids
Helps reduce and prevent damage
The rich, thick oil will help ends become shiny while hiding the appearance of frizzy, damaged and split ends
Over time, as you use it, you'll notice that you won't develop split ends as easily
