Ask the community

Need help finding a company or supplier?

looking for a clubhouse or event center to rent in oviedo florida?

want to have a reception in a clubhouse, community center

Lisa

Question answered by

http://myrealwedding.theknot.com/photo/view/Charles-amp-Ann The link there is for a wedding that was planned in that area, lots of good caterer tips etc. For the reception site, you can contact the local Chamber of Commerce in Oviedo, they will have a list of them for you. Churches also sometimes have fellowship halls, and golf courses have club houses. There is practically always a VA hall in the area also.

What are good sub woofers to have? I have a KIA Optima?

Witter06

Question answered by

Skip the subs and save your money, put every penny you have into an IRA then work your ass off and Wait until your Kia is paid off. Then you will have enough to get a BMW M3, then you wont need subs and you will have more high quality chicks. Trust me I have come up in the game and Now I have a Huge House on a golf course in a country club, a modified Cobra Mustang with 460 hp, A Twin Turbo Lexus IS300, and a 2009 BMW M3 Convertible. I still have more money than I want and More Girls than I need. Of course I own my own company which helps alot! BUT If you STILL really want those big boomers, Id use a bandpass box with two 12" JL audio W7. Just make sure to match the amp and speakers up well. Dont overpower them and check what you want out of them IE: SPL, DB, OHM, WATTS, ETC. A local radio shop can help you with the pairing then do a search on craigslist or ebay to get it cheaper than the radio shop and find a friend to help with the install. Also spring the extra few bucks for a good set of wires and install kit. Good luck.

is dunlop a good golf brand?

i know it aint exactly nike or taylor made but is it a fairly good brand?

davidjbricey

Question answered by TinPotRay

It depends. They're definitely good if you're on a budget. Their clothes are cheap but decent. Their gloves and small accessories are, again cheap but decent. For example if your 14 year old kid wants to get into golf, and there's already a Karate Suit, Guitar & Amp etc. sitting in the closet and you just know that's where the clubs will end up, then Dunlop is a good brand to start with. If however, you have the money, and you want to invest seriously in your golf game, then getting properly custom fitted with TaylorMade, Calloway, Mizuno or Titleist clubs is the best way forward. Ignore Nike clubs, unless of course you're willing to pay a lot. The cheaper ones are among the worst on the market. Wilson's are twice the clubs Nike's are at the lower end of the market. Good luck!

Would this annoy you (or am I just crazy/bitter?) (Christmass....)?

Alright, so Xmas is coming up. I'm away at college/working an internship, and don't live with my parents any more. They live about an hour away. They make a reasonable amount of money.. Not a ton, but enough they can stay out of debt and lead a reasonable life, though not with much disposable income. Just average middle class I guess. My dad is the kind of guy, that when he gets something new, he has to have THE BEST. So our house is pretty average, but here and there are really expensive pieces. And he seems to be buying them more frequently. They're the kinds of things most people would just go pick up for fairly cheap and be done with it, but he does hours of research into whats best and buys expensive. In the last year or so he's bought.. A new personal laptop (the rest of the family shares a shitty computer).. $2000 A LCD (or whatever) 52" tv.. $2300 A new bass and amp.... $3000 A new microwave... $400 (i know, rediculous) A new stove.... $1000+ (not sure.. expensive though) A new toaster....$150 (it's really fancy :S) He is the only income earner of the house, as my mom refuses to work... and my brother is only 12... but for things like clothes,, they spend NO money on. It's weird. Anyways.. My dad has been bugging me about what I want for xmas this year. I honestly had no idea, and told him I would rather (honestly) get nothing, than something I didn't want. There was no point wasting their money on me, as I make enough to support myself and don't need their help. I like being independent. So I finally came up with what I wanted... A new cellphone.. As mine is broken and I use it FREQUENTLY for work and personal use. Its the only thing I needed, and I would be happy with ONLY that as my gift. The one I want is like $350. I told my dad I didn't expect him to spend that kind of money on me, but it would be a good gift if he wanted to pay for half of it or something. He pretty much flipped out when I told him that. TOO much money, you don't need a thing like that, what are you using a cell phone for anyways, blah blah blah, Anyways, the main point of his freak out was that he wasn't spending that much money on me for Christmas because he couldn't afford it. Now I understand that it's alot of money to spend on me, but my dad always uses the excuse "we just don't have that kind of money'.. but then I see all the new things they have. Now he's freaking out about not knowing what to get me, and me not telling him.. So he wants to buy me a new stereo (which I already have) or tv (which I already have), or all these other things that are more expensive, which I already have, and don't need. Do you think I have a right to be annoyed? Am I overreacting? I'm just confused. Sorry, I probably sound like a huge B!tch.. but it drives me insane when I'm told they can't afford to call me because "they don't have any money" It's not Just about the cell phone.. that was just my most recent example. Oh, and btw.. I'm 19.. been on my own for 2 years and I 100% support myself. I get no money from them whatsoever, and never had. I've paid for my school and house myself so it's not like they're dishing out cash to me on a regular basis. I was thinking mid-life crisis as well. A TV is nothing to him, but a 30 dollar phone bill is like the end of the world. He's 52 atm.

Question answered by ihaveasexyhusband

A stereo or tv seems more of a present than a mobile phone and I think that's his problem. Every time he asks what he can get for your present, just say either that mobile phone or money towards the phone. As for his attitude about the money, it's "his money and he can spend it how and when he likes". My Dad was exactly the same, no money for my course in secondary school which cost £50.00 but he had £700.00 for a set of golfing clubs 2 days later. Annoying and frustrating but stick to your guns. It's his money and he likes to be in control with the spending and you stating that you want a phone means he's not in control, however, him offering a tv is his way of controlling the spending of his money. Good luck and remember when you have kids not to be the same.
