How does one ask a cashier out on a date?
There's this girl I like and im pretty sure she likes me too. We both worked at a store, but i was a floor service guy and she's currently a cashier. I recently quit for another job. 2 weeks ago to be exact. She told me i should come by for a visit sometime. Now how do i ask her out if she would most likely be behind the cash till working, without it being awkward?

Question answered by GarJennOri
Go in there and buy something. Then while she is ringing you up slip her your number right before you are going to leave.
Better yet. Give her exact change (For ex: if the total is 10.10 give her $11 or 5.90 give her $6) just give her the amount over what you need to pay and on top of that put your number on a little piece of paper. Hand her the money and your number and off you go. Later she will call you!
under which expenses account we should put floor mat services?
in the accounting system, whcih is the best way to key in the expenses for floor mat services.is it in general expenses? or is it in repair & maintainence services?

I suggest that you use general expenses. Repair and maintenance is usual associated with the "upkeep" of a fixed asset (building or equipment).
Does anyone know of any Residential Housekeeping / Maid services in The Woodlands?
That will come to my house once a week or every two weeks to dust, clean bathrooms and do floors? The service that we were using are no longer going to service The Woodlands due to the high cost of gas.

Have you looked at
http://craigslist.org
Many people post service for hire there.
Also hit the grocery store in your area. In the front you should find a 'Greensheet' for your area. There will be a bunch in there.
Look at the local newspaper you get. Again these people advertise in those.
What cleaning acid or solution to scrub tiles?

Question answered by HISSINSID
One of the quickest ways to remove grease from tiles is to make up a mix of hot water and soap powder!! Leave it for 10 mins and the grease just melts away, leaving a lovely smell, depending which soap powder you use!! Good luck with your new business xx
is there any way to search for a home based on size of living room or dining room?
I don't care about total square footage, or number of bedrooms or bathrooms, or location (within reason). All I care about is having a large enough living room for a 9 foot grand piano and space for audience, and that the house is detached so nobody is bothered by the noise. So minimum 220 square foot room on the main floor.
What service allows me to search on this parameter?

Question answered by Simpson G
I'm not a aware of a search engine that would permit you to do this. You should have your buyer's agent do the legwork on this and call listing agents to see if their listings offer this.
220sqft is not overly large for a living room, so if you are scoping out larger houses, this shouldn't be a problem. Also consider "bonus" rooms or game rooms as they often have large open space.
Whats the difference between a "floor jack" and a "service jack"?
I want to get the Craftsman 2-1/4 ton jack and 2-1/4 ton stand combo from sears, but I want to know the difference between floor and service jacks. I have also heard that the said jack leaks oil alot, although the reviewers may not have maintained it.

Question answered by paul h
Generally speaking, a service jack is rated for more heavy duty use, a larger saddle, faster or easier to pump up, higher weight capacity, stronger construction, less leak prone and higher lifting capabilities. All jacks will leak a certain amount during use and will leak more if overpressured by lifting too much or close to their limits.
I've had several basic floor jacks over the years rated at around 2 tons and each one eventually leaked or structurally failed and wasn't worth fixing...just buy another one. I would recommend you buy a good quality one rated at least 3 tons if you plan on using it periodically...especially on trucks or heavy vehicles... and keeping in for some time although they are harder to transport if you want one for that reason. I'd also suggest you be careful in buying jack stands....the better ones are also rated at higher capacities and have good locking mechanisms versus a simple bolt or steel rod through the tube which can fail. It all depends on your budget and what types of work you plan on doing...good quality items can last for many years with little trouble, maintenance or repairs. The last 3 ton jack and stand set I bought has lasted for 10 years with no problems.
Which company to choose for decorating my house floors?
Hi. For some years i am thinking to polish, repair & decorate my house floors. As my house is very old, so its floors are damaged, cracks had generated all over the floor. During rainy season the floors become slippery. Is there any good floors repairing company in Canada? The company should provide quality floor repairing & laminating service at low cost.

What is the best non toxic choice for hardwood floor underlayment?
The least toxic flooring seems to be prefinished hardwood. I was told that the hardwood would need to be nailed to plywood. I don't want to use plywood because of offgassing concerns. What is the best non toxic choice for hardwood floor underlayment?
Ector
Question answered by Frank
there are many non toxic and green products that can be used, you can use bamboo engineered flooring, or a laminate floating floor , you can go to armstrong.com to see products for allergies and reactions to products, they have a good selection and a leader in the industry, also you can do a search for dealers in your area, as far as installing a hardwood floor installation you can use a 5/16 pre finished product or a product that can be snapped together, i all depends on the type of sub-floor
that you have, i thinking it is concrete, also the concrete should be tested for moisture before installing any floor, it is called , calcium chloride test, most flooring contractor pros's should do this, unless you are installing it yourself, i hope this was help full, if you need more info , don't hesitate to contact me , frank 772-626-0415 Prianti's Flooring Service, llc www.pslflooring.com priantiflooring@gmail.com
Need help finding a good flooring company to install floors in Southern California?
We just bought a new home in Rancho Cucamonga and we're trying to find a good flooring company to do the entire house for us. Carpets upstairs, hardwood floors downstairs, with tile in the bathrooms. We've stopped by a few stores but something just didn't feel right with each of them. Any suggestions or past experiences would greatly help. Thanks in advance.

Try Service Magic in your area by going to their website and putting in a job order. All of their contractors are pre-screened, legal, liscensed, bonded and insured. They will come out and give you estimates of both labor and a time schedule. They will have 3 different contractors give you estimates so you have instant comparision. In my experience, they are fair and honest contractors and with Service Magic behind them, their work is guaranteed. Once you get their estimates, you can verify real customer experiences on kudzu.com for added peace of mind.
