School. If your school doesn't have one, help to organize one.
Otherwise if there are art centers which teach classes specifically for children they may have children oriented exhibitions once in a while.

What are some current art & design exhibitions going on in London?
I have an interview for a graphic design course soon and i think it would be good to know about some current exhibitions going on in the area (London). So if you know about any, please let me know. A link to a website would be especially useful.

How do you go about having your own art exhibition?
I really want to get started on art exhibitions before I'm 20, so I can have a head start. I was just wondering how do I go about opening my own or even being apart of one. Also, does the same go for photographs in exhibitions.

Question answered by Ms. Bou
If you just want to exhibit your art, you could rent a room at a local hotel or place that has rooms for meetings, receptions and so on. This could turn out to be a bit expensive, so an alternative might be to see if you can interest a mall into having an art exhibition that is open to any artist wanting to set up and show their work. The mall may charge each participant a fee, but this is likely going to be more affordable. You would need to have some way of setting up your art to show it well and have some decent lighting to highlight the pieces. Check with a company that rents out equipment for parties to see if they have lighting systems and tri-fold boards that are sturdy enough to hang your art on. You will probably want to frame your art for display, so keep the frames simple and inexpensive. If someone purchases a piece, they can always change the frame on their own. A last resort to set up an exhibit would be to see if any churches rent out their meeting rooms to outside groups. If you can rent a large enough room, you'll still have to find a way to set up your artwork without putting nails in the walls and so on. Once you do find a venue for your show, you will need to determine a date, decide on a style of invitations to send to particular people you would like to attend and set up some posters and have them put up in strategic spots to invite the public to attend your show. You will likely need a vendor's license if you plan to sell any of your artwork, so check into that before you do anything. I'm guessing that you are still in high school, so maybe chat with your art teacher about having an exhibit before the end of the semester. That way, all the planning is being done by someone with experience and who will be able to get the right venue to suit a group of students who are new to the art world. You could still send out invitations to people that you want to attend, just be sure to say that you are part of the exhibition and that it is not an exhibition of your works. There's a big difference between the two and you don't want to hurt the feelings of your friends who are also displaying their work. Hope this works out for you!

Take an undergraduate course you will really love and do very well at, do as much volunteering as you possibly can during your course, network like mad, then do a relevant postgraduate qualification.
