Are there any caravan parks in Sydney that have permanent residency?

Are there any caravan parks in Sydney that have permanent residency? And how much is rent per week or per fortnight?

Sydney Tourist Park at Miranda. If they dont have any vacancies you can rent a cheap van locally - there is a guy that rents from Gymea -and put the van onsite with just paying site fees that is cheaper than paying full rent to rent one of there vans or get a tent. Also Cronulla van park also rents vans and cabins permanantly but they are a bit dearer than Miranda. heathcote caravan park you can only stay at for 6 weeks.

when caravan travelling, do you prefer to stay in caravan parks? If so, what is your reason?

This question is for caravan owners who have used their caravans for travelling. It will also help me if you go caravan travelling and also stay in caravan parks for your accomodation.

Caravan parks give you that extra comfort such as laundry service, some places have swimming pools, powered sites for power, hot showers and toilets. They also provide added safety that normal rest or sleeping spots might not.

Is it possible toy use the Australian govt First Home Owners Grant to buy an unit in a caravan park?

You know those permanent onsite vans at Caravan parks that come up for sale every now and then, is it possible to use the FHOG to purchase one outright without using my own money? Or is the FHOG only available for use when used with you own deposit?

Does anyone know any Caravan parks in London or places to park up?

I'm moving to London in a caravan and am unsure about the caravanparks there. Does anybody know any caravan parks in London or very close to London where they allow you to stay for a long time? Are there any other options than parking in a caravan site? Can you rent land etc etc? I have a dog so will have to be suitable for pets. Any information on this would be a huge help!

There are 5 campsites in the London area. Details on the link below. Only Lea Valley specifies 14 days max, so you would have to contact the others to see what their policy is.

Where would you recommed a good caravan park to stay in Adelaide?

I'm looking to go for a caravan travel during the christmas holidays and is there a caravan park that you have stayed before that you think is hygenic, offers scenery and any extra features of staying in this caravan park.

which is suitable town in Australia to run a new caravan park?

I am planning to run a caravan park in less populated town. Actually I am running a online store of hand knitted wear. I am thinking of running a phyical store as well in the caravan park. Could you please help me in finding suitable town, could be regional area with shortage of accommodation or an attraction of many tourists where there are no caravan park or could be one already with potential for another one. Thanks for your time. Kathy

What is the law in south africa regarding caravans parked outside a house for a long period of time?

My neighbour has had his caravan parked on the pavement for months now... is that legal?

Question answered by Helen

I am not 100% sure, but I think they may need a valid annual licence disc displayed or they can be fined (same as cars). If their licence disc has expired, report them to the authorities.

Questions about caravans and caravan parks in Australia- filling up water and discarding waste?

I want to go on a road trip in a caravan around Australia and want some answers on these questions: My plan is to rent a 6-berth caravan (there's 6 of us): - Where can i fill up water and/or discard waste apart from caravan parks? - Is there such thing as filling up my water tank (around 140litres) for free at petrol stations or any other places? If yes, where? - Caravan site rates is only applicable for 2 people - i do have to tell the management that there's 6 of us, right? - Can i camp anywhere on land - eg. carparks or open grounds in between destinations? - Is comprehensive insurance necessary? - How many kms approximately to drive around the coastline of Australia? I read around 16000 kms - can anyone confirm? Thanks so much!!!

Natalie

Question answered by BJ

Sounds like a good trip, you will need at least 12-24 months to do that. You can fill up with water at any caravan park free, and all servos have taps, take your own hose. Something to be aware of tho, the southern states are in the middle of a severe drought and water restrictions apply. You can camp in most places once your outside of the major centres, check for signage. If you do camp in the outback, try to get off the main Hwy at least a few Km's, there can be undesirables lurking out there. You wont have any problems though as there will defiantly be others camping too. Take the comprehensive insurance, its worth it, check your policy as there may be some roads (including dirt roads) that you are not covered on, these are also some of the best places to go. I think 16 000kms would be conservative. ENJOY!!
