where are the Indian reservation bingo halls,that play for big money and big prizes?
i don't want casinos.i want only bingo halls.so does anyone know of any that play for big money and prizes.like a marathon bingo.thx in the united states.different states.i am looking to go on vacation for the weekend to one.i live in Mississippi but not gonna go as far as California.

It's most likely that the biggest money prizes are played at the Indian Bingo halls that are attached to casinos. Foxwoods, for example, has a very big Bingo hall with very big prizes. Yes, it also has a casino, but you don't even have to step into the casino in order to get to the Bingo hall. It's likely that way all across the country. The biggest money Bingo games will be at the reservations that also have casinos, but you probably don't ever have to go into the casinos to get to the Bingo hall.What is the most a bingo hall can pay out?
In the state of Arizona is there a limit to how much a bingo hall (not a casino) can pay out in a single session?

My father wants to start a bingo hall. He is already set up as a non profit organization. But, I can't find any additional information on the net, except with churches. We're in Cleveland, Ohio. I ve read a lot of the articles about the new no smoking law that was passed in PA, but I couldnt find any definitive answer that said whether it applied to bingo halls....If anyone has a link, or knows if it does could you please let me know? Thanks in advance!

Just wondering how bingo halls make money if most states require volunteers to work there without getting paid. Are there states where the hall can make money and still donate to charity? Any links to such information would be helpful. Thanks

What do you mean how do they make money? You pay to play bingo. The prizes are less than what they take in. The extra is the money they made.Whatv do the specially marked numbers on a bingo card mean?
I assume its probably different per bingo hall but when I was playing Bingo the other night some numbers had a pow symbol around them in general what happens when one of those is part of your bingo?

i don't think i have played with such but maybe it has some special prize to have it part on your bingo you have not ask in the bingo hall where you played?Does anyone work in a bingo. If you do have long have you worked there and what is your main job?
I work in a bingo hall. Worked they for just over 10 years. Mainly call the parti unit and working behind the bar.

Many bingo halls are closing in areas that have a smoking ban., To remain non profit, bingo halls give their profits to charities, probably even the american cancer society. I hope these bans do not hurt charites? The trickle effect begins.

the "smoking ban supporters" forget how much in taxes smokers pay when they buy cigarettes. If the SMS people want everyone to quit smoking, a lot of things will go by the wayside due to lack of funds. And what makes you think those SBS donate anything to anyone? All they seem to think of is themselves and how they want "their" rules in charge.
