What are those envelopes of coupons you get in the mail called?
I want to send out coupons for my business. What are those envelopes of coupons called, you know the ones that you go through, throw most away, and keep a couple and throw them away the next week. They usually have ads for cleaning services and local food places.

Where can I buy inexpensive envelopes that will hold a 4x6 invitation?
Who knew envelopes could be so expensive? I have 1,000 wedding invitations, even though I will probably only send 500.
I am willing to buy them online or at a store, but I would like to find some inexpensive ones.
Thank you!

What's the difference between letter and business sized envelopes?
I was educated that letter size envelopes average 3 5/8 x 6 1/2 and business size envelopes tend to be longer. Is this correct?

Letter sized envelopes are designed to hold an unfolded 8.5 x 11 inch document. Typically these envelopes are 9 - 9.5 x 11.5 - 12 inches.
Business sized envelopes are designed to hold a twice folded 8.5 x 11 inch document. Typically these envelopes are 3 x 11.5 inches.
Where can I find black envelopes for wedding invitations?
I need to purchase black envelopes for my wedding invitations. I'd like to have at least the return address pre-printed to save time.
I also need coordinating response card envelopes.
No clue where to find them! Any suggestions?

Listen, the most important thing - the #1 consideration with your wedding invitations is that they be readable and mailable. Black envelopes are not the right choice because it looks so unprofessional to slap labels on wedding invitations. They need to be printed. You're not going to get a mailable, easily readable invite using black envelopes. That is why most places do not sell them. The standard white envelopes with the black printed on or embossed makes sense because it increases the chances of the invite getting to it's destination and on time. That's why you don't put a difficult to read font on your envelopes as well. I would do white envelopes with a black liner if you have chosen a black invite. Every reputable shop that I know of will not do black envelopes. If you want it to look classy and professional, just don't. If your heart is that set on black you are going to have to make your own envelopes. You get the paper from a scrapbook store and then use a template to cut out the right sizes. The thing is wedding invites these days come in so many different sizes that you need the custom sized envelopes that go with them not just whatever you can find in a paper store. One idea is to buy just a sample of envelopes from the place where your invites are being printed and then make templates from those. But, then you're going to need to buy special glue sticks that are made for crafting and won't pucker the envelopes when you glue them shut.
What size should fonts be on letterheads and envelopes when designing in Illustrator?

Depends on choice of font. For the bold line on a LH, never larger than 18 pt, and more often it was 14 or 16 pt. 11/12 for the normal font after that. All text centered, 1/2 inch top margin. Often the phone number centered, as last line bold and 10 pt. Today, I guess, that last line would be italic at the same size as address with a bullet then web address.
For the return address: 10 pt bold on company name
11 /13 normal for the rest. The block of text is centered with the longest line flushed to the margin.
That is assuming all serif font selection.
The white margin is significant on printed pieces. The print shop needs room to let their machine grip the paper. 18 pt on the envelope. 24 pt on the LH.

Avoid like the clap if you are asked to pay an upfront fee, 99% of the time it is a scam, you stuff the envelopes "exactly" as instructed, but they find fault (address not central enough, stamp is at an angle etc) and refuse to pay you, only problem is youv already coughed up £50 as an "administration fee", those envelopes you stuffed? they contain adverts to lure in more victims.

Well, someone has to pay for envelopes or any services. You may try calling FedEx or UPS agents to your address, and ask them to deliver the products at desired location. They may allow you an option that receiver will pay.

As I understand it from working in insurance, the issuer is charged for each envelope that is mailed by a client. Similar concept to toll free telephone calling:: the recipient is charged, the client calls free.

give your schools adress with your name on it, the chances of the school adress getting messed up is lower and don't forget to inform the school office about this so they look out for an envelope
